Three encodings, one law of motion.
The narrative runs clockwise from the top — one full revolution, first page to last. Every entity is a star pinned at the angle of its birth chapter. Look at where a story stacks its stars and you see its architecture: the Iliad seeds heroes evenly around the wheel; Crime and Punishment crowds nearly everything into the first sixth; Cryptonomicon lays two timelines around one dial, alternating star by star, and rings the few stars that belong to both.
A star's distance from the center is its narrative weight — the more relationships it accumulates, the deeper it falls toward the middle. Watch Paul Atreides begin at the rim and sink, book by book, into the core of Dune: the hero's journey as literal gravitation. Raskolnikov is born already fallen. Click any star to open it: its birth chapter, every chapter it is named in, and each chord it has formed — and follow the chords to the next star.
The inner ring is the story's EKG — new entities and relations per chapter. Battle books spike; psychological chapters run long and low. When a relation first forms, it fires across the dial as a comet and settles into a faint chord. The residue, at 100%, is the book's complete constellation.
